The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic is a central body of state administration responsible for the areas of finance, taxes and fees, customs, financial control, internal audit and government audit. One of the main visions of the ministry of finance is to prevent the growth of the shadow economy which is also possible by expanding cashless transactions.
Samsung Electronic
Samsung Electronics is one of the world’s largest producers of electronic devices. It is also a leader in internet devices development and it is building an open platform called SmartThings for smart homes and variety of other applications. In 2015 Samsung launched a mobile payment and digital wallet service in South Korea and USA that lets users make payments using phones and other devices. Later Samsung Pay also spread into Europe and Slovakia.
